Football Expert Chris Sutton Takes On Artist Murs in Premier League Forecasts
Arsenal's ten-match victorious run was ended by Sunderland before the international break, but can the Premier League leaders bounce back against local foes Tottenham this weekend?
"{I feel like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a plan for this match," stated soccer expert Chris Sutton.
"The Spurs manager will try to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling finest this season - but Mikel Arteta's team usually still manage to win."
Sutton is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League games this term, against artificial intelligence, readers and a variety of special visitors.
For the twelfth round, he takes on singer Olly Murs, who is a United supporter.
The singer's latest record, the new release, is out on Friday.
Football and Family Life
Olly is a talented soccer player as well as a successful artist and has been a featured player of multiple Soccer Aid matches over time - but he is not intending a serious return as a footballer.
"{I actually played in a charity game the other night for a mate of mine," he said. "The team was losing 3-1 when I was substituted in the 60th minute, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you want!
"I still love football, but I hurt my knee a few years ago and it still isn't where I want it to be. I hope I could play more but the unpredictability of the game means it's too dangerous for me in my career to do it seriously again.
"Plus I am 41 now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am gearing up for the time that my daughter or boy decides to play instead."
The singer and his spouse Amelia Tank have two children, their daughter and their son, and he is prepared to follow in his father's footsteps by becoming their coach.
"I will not push football on our kids but I've already told Amelia that if they happen to get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my manager qualifications - and I will likely be managing their weekend football side," he said.
"I observed my relatives play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I clearly owned a football club for a while too.
"My dad coached with us when I was a child, which is probably where I get it from. He coached our team for two or three seasons and had a wonderful time with it. That could be the future for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"
Premier League Forecasts
Weekend, 22 November
- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
Chelsea might have to wait a bit longer for Cole Palmer's return from fitness issues but their offense is already stronger with Joao Pedro and Liam Delap both returned to fitness.
I still think this fixture will be fairly close, though. Burnley are disciplined and their only home defeats so far have been against Liverpool and the Gunners.
It suggests a 1-1 draw to me, but I am in fact going to go with Chelsea to win narrowly for what would be their third consecutive Premier League win in a row.
The expert's prediction: 1-2
The singer's prediction: The Blues will be too strong. 1-3
AI's outlook: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Bournemouth have been defeated in their previous couple matches - although both of them were on the road - but they got thoroughly beaten by Aston Villa last time out which surprised me.
On the other hand, the Hammers secured two in a row before the international break and, although both of those fixtures were at their stadium, they appear strong again.
West Ham's sole on the road win this season came at Forest in the summer, when their manager Nuno Espirito Santo was previously that team's manager.
Therefore, what exactly do I predict here - will it be West Ham extending their streak under their manager, or the home side responding?
I will go with Bournemouth, because I believe what occurred against Villa was a blip.
Sutton's prediction: 2-0
The guest's outlook: The home team are performing strongly but the visitors have picked up under their boss. 2-2
The algorithm's prediction: 1-1

Brentford were seen as one of the favourites for relegation before the campaign began, but they have surprised a several observers under their manager and are in good form with three in their past four games.
A family member told me to select Brentford forward Igor Thiago in my Fantasy Football squad a few weeks back and, unfortunately, I ignored the advice.
The forward will probably score again on the weekend but I am nonetheless not going to pick him or back Brentford at Amex Stadium.
The Bees have not had much fortune on the travel this season, and Brighton are consistently decent at their stadium. The visitors will try to attack on the break but I think the home manager's team carry much more of a threat.
Sutton's forecast: 2-1
Olly's prediction: It could be a match where you expect there is going to be a many goals but it actually proves to be quite close. 1-1
AI's outcome: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
It is a massive game for Fulham, who have lost five of their last six games.
Fulham have have plenty of talent in their squad but it still feels like they could be dragged into a relegation battle.
As for the Black Cats, indeed they are the unexpected success of the Premier League season so far.
Their performance in the two-all tie with Arsenal last time out was superb. We've not witnessed anyone else disrupt the Gunners like that this term, and Sunderland were fully competitive for them.
The logical choice would be to support the visitors here, because they are clearly capable of disrupting the hosts up too and, the last time they were in west London, they defeated Chelsea at the close of last month.
However I am not do that. Rather, I really need to continue going against the away team with my forecasts. I am claiming a lot of responsibility for their positive outcomes because they clearly love to defy my predictions.
Considering the home side's at Craven Cottage record, the sole side they have been defeated by is Arsenal. Marco Silva's side will be extremely eager for a good result, so I am going to say they will pick up three much-needed points.
The expert's prediction: 1-0
The guest's choice: I'm aware Sunderland are performing strongly and additionally that the hosts are on a poor run... but they have nonetheless been respectable at Craven Cottage this campaign. 2-0
The algorithm's prediction: 2-0
- Anfield, 15:00 GMT
This is a tough fixture to call. The Reds have lost seven of their last ten games in every tournament, but could they be among the teams who benefit from the {international break|
